The ASP will be holding its 60th annual convention in November 14-15, 2019 at the Hennan Resort in Bohol, Philippines. With the theme ASP@60: Celebrating the Past, Embracing the Present, Shaping the Future, the ASP celebrates its mission of continuing to mold internationally recognized actuarial professionals who are committed to the standards of the profession and who uphold the highest level of competence and integrity.
Together with RGA, the event’s Double Platinum Sponsor, and all other major sponsors, the ASP enjoins its members to continue embracing the challenges of the actuarial profession and shape the future of our industry by keeping pace with trends and developments that affect the public that we serve.
This year’s convention provides a forum to learn from thought leaders and subject matter experts, foster exchanges of ideas and network with peers. The following plenary sessions will cover cross-practice topics on risk, technology and big data, micro and social insurance, as well as the challenges for the impending implementation of IFRS 17.
With around 300 registered participants so far and with slots filling in fast, the event promises to be one of the most attended conventions in the history of the ASP. Registration closes on September 30. If you have not registered yet, please go to this link.
We look forward to seeing you in Bohol!
