Last May 24, 2019, the ASP held its 2ndQuarter General Assembly Meeting at Manila Polo Club. For this quarter, the theme was “Embracing the Present”. Esteemed economist Dr. Bernardo M. Villegas discussed his views about our country’s current economic condition and market outlook, as well as the government’s programs and responses in these challenging times.
During the meeting, our special guests from the Society of Actuaries (SOA) – Ann Henstrand, Wai Ling Yung, and Lisa Kuklinski – were on hand to share on-going projects and activities of the SOA.
We also heard from our newly inducted Fellows of the ASP, Emelyn Ramos and Charmaine Vergara. Afterwards, the Society enjoyed a few rounds of Quiz Night care of the Engagement committee.
