Confluence Convergence Conventions. Such is the theme for the Actuarial Society of the Philippines’ 55th Annual Convention which will be held on November 13-14, 2014 at the Bellevue Resort in Bohol. The actuarial profession is faced with changes in local insurance regulations, major developments in international financial reporting and solvency standards, and increasing internationalization and free-trade. Actuaries have the responsibility and should take the lead in helping insurance and financial institutions steer through these dynamic and exciting developments. This convention aims to foster Confluence of bright minds, achieve Convergence through a series of presentations, and establish Conventions for the best interest of the general public and market players.
