The Actuarial Society of the Philippines (ASP) is pleased to announce the revised qualifications for Affiliate Membership, effective July 1, 2025. These updates broaden access to talented professionals and reflect the evolving actuarial field.

Key Changes:

• Expanded Eligibility: The previous requirement of passing at least one SOA Preliminary Exam has been broadened.
• Two Pathways:
  • Examination Pathway: Pass at least one preliminary exam from internationally recognized actuarial organizations (SOA, CAS, IFOA, or ASP-recognized associations).
  • Experience Pathway: Complete a minimum of one year of relevant actuarial work experience under the supervision or in collaboration with an ASP member. This includes work in insurance, employee benefits, healthcare, social insurance, risk management, and data analytics.
• Application Requirements: The Experience Pathway requires a Job Attestation Form in addition to the standard ASP Membership Application Form.
