Highlights of the revised syllabus:

Revised Fellowship Structure (Effective January 1, 2026)
The Fellowship pathway has been updated with the removal of most FSA module requirements (except ECPSDM) and their replacement with two SOA sequenced core exams (101 and 201) within the same track, strengthening specialization requirements.

Expansion of Alternate Pathways
A new CAS (Casualty Actuarial Society) pathway has been introduced (approved September 2025), complementing the existing IFoA pathway and broadening routes to Associateship.

Updates to Associateship Curriculum (aligned with SOA changes)
The syllabus reflects SOA 2021 curriculum updates, including:

• Replacement of IFM with ATPA
• Replacement of LTAM/STAM with FAM + (ALTAM or ASTAM)

Refined Transition Rules
Transition rules have been updated to reflect the new structure, including clear cut-offs for legacy FSA modules (no longer credited after December 31, 2025, with limited exceptions).

New and Updated Readings
The syllabus includes new and updated regulatory materials, including recent circulars on Takaful, financial reporting, electronic submissions, investments, and healthcare/HMO regulations.
