The Philippine Insurance Commission and the Actuarial Society of the Philippines announced that it will conduct an industry wide Morbidity Study on the claims experience of health maintenance organizations (HMOs) and insurance companies. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed during IC’s 75th anniversary held last January 24, 2024, at the PICC.

The Society was represented by ASP President, Allan Santos and Vice President, Ian Nuqui. The study will be headed by the ASP’s Health Insurance Committee with Mr. Gerry Salas as Governor-in-Charge.
